CloudKid Clothing is the official clothing and merchandise line for the record label and YouTube channel, CloudKid. Baker Baker and Baker was tasked with delivering a seamless solution to bring this vision to life.

Baker Baker and Baker crafted a comprehensive, long-term strategy for the brand’s clothing line. This included sourcing a reliable manufacturing partner, Juniper Creates, and spearheading the rollout plan—covering everything from production logistics to promotion and audience engagement.

This resulted in the launch of the ‘Essentials’ line in late 2022, featuring a minimalist yet stylish collection: a hoodie, a cap, and a t-shirt available in two versatile colorways.

Purpose:

  • Develop and launch a strategic extension of CloudKid's brand portfolio, creating a complementary venture designed to generate scalable passive income while broadening the company's market presence and offerings.

  • To met a long-standing demand by the community demand for CloudKid merchandise, fostering deeper audience engagement and brand loyalty.

  • Strategically develop a merchandise program to support community and marketing initiatives, ensuring branded items were readily available for giveaways, competitions, and premium ‘swag’ to delight stakeholders, partners, and fans.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison with Juniper Creates, overseeing manufacturing and logistics to ensure seamless operations.

  • Develop detailed budget forecasts and profit estimations, ensuring financial accuracy and guiding strategic decision-making.

  • Identify and resolve sample production issues through proactive problem-solving and coordination with key stakeholders.

  • Direct the end-to-end branding strategy for CloudKid Clothing, establishing a cohesive and impactful brand identity.

  • Strategically plan and execute sales campaigns aligned with key calendar dates to maximize revenue and customer engagement.

  • Design and implement discount code initiatives to amplify marketing campaigns and foster community activations.

  • Develop and manage CloudKid Clothing's social media presence, driving audience growth and engagement through targeted content strategies.

  • Lead the rollout of product launches, ensuring timely execution and alignment with broader marketing objectives.

  • Create, manage, and distribute the CloudKid Clothing newsletter to drive sales.

  • Monitor inventory levels and track sales performance to maintain operational transparency and drive data-informed insights.

  • Provide customer support, address inquiries and resolve community issues to uphold brand reputation.
