The Life Cycle

The Life Cycle is a podcast series launched by Klang Games to cover the themes surrounding the studio’s simulation MMO, SEED, a game about human survival and exoplanet settlement.

Baker and Baker conceived the idea of The Life Cycle, a season comprised of seven episodes covering topics such as the future of humanity, space travel, Simulation Theory, and transhumanism, among others. Guests include experts such as Lawrence Lessig, Dr. Phil Kennedy, and  Bryan Johnson.

Baker Baker and Baker led the first season of the podcast, covering the concept, branding, online presence, hosting and publishing, and PR. The podcast is now on its third season and has over 12K downloads.

Purpose:

  • Develop strategies to reach broader audiences beyond the core gaming community, effectively promoting SEED and Klang Games to diverse demographics.

  • Expand the SEED universe by crafting narratives and content that enriched the game’s lore, including uncovering themes and easter eggs to deepen audience engagement.

  • Produce independent content to accelerate output and maintain creative momentum beyond the constraints of SEED’s production timeline.
